This project required a complete re-design of the house in order to achieve an area that was both functional and had the wow factor. We felt that knocking through to the conservatory would really open up the space and provide the perfect setting for entertaining and evening meals. This conservatory had not been used in years so a dining and social area was the perfect fit.
Initial Design Proposals
The customer was looking to give her kitchen the wow factor so we set a budget of £14,000 – £16,000.
During Installation
The full room was stripped back to the bare walls removing the wall and floor tiles in preparation for plastering. An opening was created through to the conservatory so that we could create a nice dining space for the customer. We also boxed in an entrance doorway as this gave us ample space for the range cooker and cashmere units.
During the Installation
After the room had been fully plastered and the electrics had been put in place for lighting and the customers appliances, we started the Installation of the kitchen units and quartz worktops. We used a white starlight quartz worktop with small mirror chips to lift the overall brightness in the kitchen.
Completion
We wanted to create a fantastic living space and we feel this was achieved in this project taking advantage of the high windows and abundance of natural light.

Additional design work
During the design stages of the project we noticed that the customer had some unused living space that had lots of potential. A media unit with ambient lighting was designed to make a bold statement in this room.
