We were asked to create a kitchen that would completely modernise this flat in Newton Mearns. The customer had a grey kitchen on her wish list for years and so we carefully selected various shades that would compliment one another in the space. A budget of £13,000-£15,000 was set. Kitchen Design Proposals
We wanted to create a sitting area like no other… and so we angled the breakfast bar in the kitchen!
Modern Kitchen Style
A very contemporary style was used in the kitchen with a mixture of light grey doors, black Bosch appliances and a contrasting graphite blue for the splashback. The kitchen style was a handleless rail system with an aluminium profile.
LED strip lighting
One of the most striking features of the kitchen was the ambient LED lighting. We rebated LED strip lights under the Corian silver birch worktops to great effect. One advantage of using LED strip lights in this way is that it illuminates items stored within the kitchen units when opened at night!
Kitchen storage space
We used integrated storage solutions for the corner units and tall larder beside the fridge!
